Event Programmes are printed booklets that share all the information event attendees need to know. They keep things running smoothly by providing schedules, descriptions, maps, and a catalogue of other details that your guests will need in a handy, portable booklet format.
They can also increase your sponsor rolls by providing additional advertising space! Selling advertising space is beneficial to you, your sponsors, and your guests. Plus, you can use previous years' event programmes to attract other advertisers in the future. Viewing a well-designed event programme offers potential sponsors tangible evidence of the benefit of supporting you.
That’s entirely up to you! Many people use some or all of the following:
- Introductory message
- Schedule of events, including order and duration
- Maps or diagrams of large venues
- Catalogues of items for sale
- Names of participants, speakers, entertainment, and special guests
- Names of events and activities
- List of sponsors, along with paid sponsor advertisements

Space considerations are a balancing act. Your event programme should provide enough information without overwhelming the reader. Choose a font size large enough to remain easily readable but small enough to allow room for all of your details. Once you have compiled your event information, contact our Customer Support Specialists on 0808 1683766 from 8:30–17:00—they’ll be glad to advise regarding the best length for your programme.
Our shortest event programme is 4 pages (front cover is page 1, inside cover is page 2, inside back cover is page 3, and back cover is page 4). We can print brochures up to 64 pages long. You can choose from two sizes: A4 flat size (A5 folded) or A3 flat size (A4 folded).
Our programmes are printed on both sides of the paper.
Your event programmes will be created as single-fold documents (a single fold refers to one fold, meaning a single sheet translates into a 4-page event programme), so a 4-page programme will not be bound. Single-fold programmes are perfect for small events such as music or dance recitals, school plays or concerts, festivals, or other short, local events.
Larger event programmes will be bound with a saddle stitch (a thin wire seam). Please note that the single-fold style means that the number of pages in your booklet will be divisible by 4!
Any you like! Our expert graphic designers can use your own images to match your event and make your guides unique and relevant to your organisation or gathering. Design time is £40 per hour. When selecting images, choose 300 dpi resolution in a common format—PDF, JPEG, GIF, or TIFF are acceptable file formats. We can also use the artwork from tickets or other printed templates you have ordered from us. Any image you have a legal right to reproduce can be added to your programmes.

You will also be required to approve an electronic version of the proof before we can begin processing. We never begin printing until you're satisfied with the proof. Proofs typically take two days to create, depending on how much design and layout work your event programme requires. If you desire a printed proof, we are more than happy to send it. Please realise that this will delay the start of processing by at least one business day.
The proof will be available no later than two business days. In this time, we will create your digital proof and email it to you.
Once you approve the proof, we will begin processing. Programmes that are 4 pages long with orders of 5,000 or fewer will be dispatched on the 4th business day after approval. Larger print runs, or programs of 8 to 32 pages, with orders of 10,000 or fewer, will be dispatched by the 6th business day after approval. You may choose your delivery preference—UPS Standard, UPS Express Saves, Parcel Force Express 9, Parcel Force Express 10, Parcel Force Express AM, Parcel Force Express 24, and Parcel Force Express 48 are available. Delivery quotes are included with the product quote.
